FUNERAL ASSISTANCE

Brief Description:

Financial Assistance of Rs. 5000/- shall be given to the legal heirs, in case of death of registered beneficiary.

Condition/Eligiblity:

1. • 1. The beneficiary should be working in the Establishment, registered under Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 and his contribution towards labour welfare fund should regularly been received in Board.

   • 2. The above financial assistance will be given on production of death certificate issued by competent authority..

   • 3. Any legal heirs of beneficiary would be eligible to avail benefit of this scheme only if the beneficiary was the member of Board for at least last six months.

   • 4. The applicant should apply for Funeral Assistance within three months from the date of death.

   Note:   In case of delayed submission of forms, Worthy Welfare Commissioner may condone the delay period
